The “ app “ that is second to none..

Aside from being able to remove or “ heal “ things from photographs the ability to enhance and improve pictures is amazing ! I have a number of applications to work with images and I always seem to end up using SnapHeal. Absolutely recommend……..

Tout simplement merveilleux! Just marvelous!

Plus besoin dêtre un "Pro" avec Snapheal vous pouvez corriger les petits problèmes sur vos photos et ce très facilement. Excellent produit et très abordable! Je le recommande fortement. No need to be a "Pro" with Snapheal you can correct easily the littles problems of your pictures. Excellent product at a very cheap price! I strongly recommend it.

Snapheal minor issues

I would like to see a small improvement with the erase feature. I would like an actually eraser, to erase edges instead of using the clone tool. I would like it, if when erasing an object out of the picture, it does not mess up the rest of picture. Usually when that happens i have to use the clone tool to fix it. Hope you guys can do something for the next version of the program.

Quick and Easy

A few simple clicks removes most unwanted items for simple digital housecleaning on casual pictures. I find it most useful on family photos and images for casual display. If you don’t need the power of photoshop type apps and are looking for something simple and effective to enhance images for digital scrapbooking, this is a must have product.

Just what it should do!

An excellent, easy to use programme that does just what it says it will do.

Extensions Compatibility Amazing. Continously Improved.

This app is amazing, I have never reviewed a photo editing app before but this well deserved the honor. While I’ve had it for several months now, it has been the best in terms of fixing unwanted objects on my scenes. They supported the new extensions capability (introduced by Apple) for Photos from day one on OS El Capitan which is a pretty impressive move. The team behind this are just farsighted, and hard-working. Can’t wait for your iOS App version :)

a few problems

A nice app but there are some irritations. I tried to find out how to add Snapheal as a plug-in to Photoshop Elements, but the web site link just takes me back to the home page and there is no manual or other source of help. Then I tried opening my Photoshop file in Snapheal format only to find that it wont open or (as far as I can tell) importas a .psd file. Which means I would have to save the file as a jpg in Elements first, losing my layers etc etc. So please, guys, fix your link so that I can see how to use Snapheal as a plug-in in Elements. Then Ill give you another star. :-)

Yup, still great!

Some issues with downloading, but a fantastic app for the beginner to intermediate.

This has to be one on the best photo apps I own !!!

I cant believe how good this app is. After 8 month no downsides at all - One of my best apps! This has to be one on the best photo apps I own !!!

I like it

I find it useful for quick edit especially for such amateurs as I am. You can make further fine edit in Photoshop, but for quick work - its worth for the money.

Pests

Works prettty well. However, I’m uninstalling it and won’t buy any more of their products because they pester you non-stop to BUY BUY BUY. I spent money on this app thinking the money I spent would keep them from pestering me all the time. Having them pop up on my private computer all the time is a personal violation. It’s like someone broke into my house and used my computer without my permission.

It’s not terrible

Bought it & didn’t use. I think it might be good for something on a very regular background. With non-regular, not that great. Lots of blur. Already had Pixelmator & Photoshop. Was hoping it would be really good at this one thing. It wasn’t for me. Ended up using a combo of the other options.

Be wary of spam advertising from Macphun

If you buy this app, the author will spam you with notifications to buy their other products. For instance, I just received a notification promoting their Aurora HDR Pro software, allegedly "for free," but when you actually give them your email address and try to download it, its just a demo version and priced nearly twice what the same apps sells for here in the App Store. Im unintalling all of these Macphun apps, and I regret ever giving them my email address.

Doesn’t work properly with OS X El Capitan

I had this app before I updated to OS X El Capitan. It worked great. Then once the operating system was updated, this app no longer worked properly. The clone feature does not work at all. Have contacted MacPhun several times and they say they are fixing it. That has been over 3 months ago and still no fix. I use this feature all the time, so if you want to use this feature and have El Capitan operating system don’t buy it.

Spooky Good

I have been challenging snapheal and it has won every time to the point of being spooky how good it is…….

Not so useful

The app is limited in scope, and not very effective in any kind of photo with varying background. If you want to remove an object “floating” in a very consistent background, it works OK. BUT, if you want to remove a battery resting on the edge of the arm of the couch, with a bit of wall in the background, forget it! The app has no concent of boundaries, and trying to remove an object that sits in front of two different surfaces, or sits on a crack or a seam, is impossible. Even on a consistent background, it requires some clean up after removing an object. What the app seems to do is cut out whatever you paint, and then try to clone in surrounding pixels. It does an OK job of reproducing texture, but only if the entire surrounding background is similar. Lastly, MacPhun puts every photo editing feature in a separate app. If you want all the features, you will end up paying more than buying a full-featured product. Or, you could just use GIMP.

I have this apps for a while and been using them but it is not perfect especially the CLONE though I am not sure if I am using it correctly. Please help

Great Fun

Easy to erase all the unwanted bits from photos. Easy to use. Thank you

Snapheal

I like Snapheal! In fact, I like all of the MacPhun apps. I have purchased them all, and the MacPhun apps are my go-to apps for personal photo manipulation. They are reliable, fun to work with, and reasonably priced. Updates, when necessary, are free to app owners. Try Snapheal, and you will want the rest of the MacPhun lineup.
