The only downside is that it forces you to break out of your normal workflow if you’re using Aperture or iPhoto, but other than that it works fine.
this tool is a killer. It removes anything you dont want to have in your picture ! I like especially the Design of the Logo. Well done. will use it more and more. I have to delete text on beautiful pictures to be able to post it on Facebook for example. I have little time and this is my new tool now. Joe
This is a very rare app, insofar as it does what it promises and then some. It is extremely flexible and each of its varied tools lets the user get nearer and nearer to the effect they are looking for. It has saved many of my photos, eliminating that awful intrusion that either wasn’t noticed or wasn’t avoidable. Frankly the app is simply a joy to use and I can recommend it to any user who wants to tweak the best out of their work.
I tried this app, and i like it for average clean-ups. It doesn’t reach yet the precision of established companies. This chinese team will surprise us , as time goes by.
One cant drag a photo from Photos to the app although it says “… or drag image in this window”. This on iMac 27” and Sierra 10.12.1.
Wow, what can I say, its great for cleaning up a picture, removing watermarks or things in the photo you want gone.
Snapheal shocked me!! I bought it for the denoise filter, but it also has many other mask tools: Sharpen, Blur, Lighten, Darken, Saturation, Contrast, Shadows, Highlights, Rotate, Crop, & way more... Oh Ya, & the Wormhole/Shapeshift/Twister Disapearing Thing :)
Its a good app. The user interface is very similar to all the other MacPhun apps like Color Strokes. Drag and drop a picture onto the app and you can start editing and then save it wherever you want. The app does work well for deleting things you dont want in the image, but you have to be careful otherwise youll get a little ghosting or bits of stuff around the area showing up in the spot you just deleted. I just use the smallest brush so I can be as detailed as possible then I export it back into one of my other apps like Aperture or iPhoto for further enhancements. Its $14.99, which is a bit steep for what it actually does. Its kind of a one trick pony, so I dont think its worth $14.99 but luckily I got it on sale for $4.99, so if you can wait I would recommend waiting until it goes on sale again. If thats a concern for you.
Just bought this app this weekend while in LA. I am a plane buff and we were at LAX on Sunday taking some pictures of a Singpaore Airlines A380 coming in for a landing. Sure enough there were light standards and other obsturctions in the photo. This app got rid of them fairly cleanly. I had to make some slight adjustments but it works great. I have another photo on of my wife with Niagara Falls in the background taken while we were up in the Skylon Tower. There is a feneced screen behind here. Again I have started to remove the obstruction and it is awesome. Well worth the money. Especially if you can afford the full version of Photoshop 5.5 or the new Photoshop 6. I am using the OS X 10.6 version
Excellent simple program to erase objects from a picture. Gives great results rapidly. Possibility to crop by various aspect ratios is also great. Wish list: 1) Red eye reduction: would be uselful to add a feature for rapidly remove red eyes (a la Picasa, for example). 2) Exif date/time stamp at a selected location on the picture.
I would rate myself a skilled novice when it comes to photo editing (I dont own Photoshop or Aperture), but Snapheal allowed me to generate extremely impressive results right away. In my first experiment, I erased a couple of large signs from a scenic shot, and had everything looking pretty much seamless in minutes. The fine, detailed work require a bit of practice, but Im already feeling like a budding expert after just a few hours. I kept scouring my iPhoto library for other photos to play with. At the highest quality settings, it takes a bit of time to generate results—but, the developers keep you entertained with a seemingly endless series of "Amazing Facts" while the status bar inches ahead. A very powerful, simple, effective tool for removing unwanted objects from your photos—people, wires, logos, litter, etc. And at this price? A steal.
Disappointing that version 2.1 still has no capability in the Retouch menu to apply "blur" to parts of an image. To so this as quickly and easiy as other edits can be made in Snapheal would be wonderful...
I love this program. Not only is it easy to use, it is entertaining with the trivia. I use the program regularly and I am happy with the results. Thank you! Love all the upgrades as well.
I gave it a 5-Star because of how Easy & Fast…. it is to use! (Worth every Penny) only 1 thing missing out of all --- is a "Eyedropper" This is to pick colors from your photo in the retouch application. Out of ALL my Apps this is BRILLIANT. 5 STAR!!!! ThakYou SNAPHEAL.
I dont know that any apps of This type, although I have tried a few. Of all of them, Snapheal is the best for me, and by far. VEry easy to use. Practically no learning curve. The resuslts are not always 100% but most of the time they please me. Well, version 2.2. results are always good.
Snapheal 2.3 is easy to use and makes mostly invisible corrections. Those that are slightly visible if you know where to look, dont matter. I am still comparing it to Inpaint Pro, and Snapheal has a slight edge over it.
Its great for removing objects on plain background, not great for removing a person in a crowd, or may be I have not found out how to do it. S.V.
This is my Go To App for cleaning up small to medium imperfections. Quick and painless.
Often, you read what a program is supposed to do, but when you purchase it, it doesnt meet your expectations. Not so with this program. Its amazing to see how easily it removes items from a photograph, often so well its difficult to believe that the object was ever there. Magic. I upgraded to Snapheal Pro and it does even more. Very slick. Definitely not a waste of money.
